Due Fiori, a new casual Italian restaurant in Long Beach, recently opened its doors on 4th Street. Located on Retro Row, known for its eclectic mix of bars, restaurants, and hyper-niche shops, Due Fiori is the latest venture from the team behind the award-winning cocktail bar Baby Gee. Just a couple blocks west, closer to downtown Long Beach, Baby Gee has earned acclaim for its craft cocktails and inventive vegetarian and vegan small plates. Now, the team brings that same creative energy to Due Fiori as well.
The back patio is open for outdoor dining alongside a cozy interior featuring Italian fused with California cuisine. Omnivores and vegetarians will delight in the Detroit-style pizza with locally-grown tomatoes and sourdough crust. Artichoke salad, quail and parmesan cheese, and roasted cauliflower Romesco are just a smattering of in the inventive dishes you can order in a casual environment.
Unlike many of its Italian counterparts in LA proper, Due Fiori strives to be an affordable and casual dining destination keeping with the relaxed and authentic vibes of Retro Row. Most of their pasta dishes are under $20 and you order at the counter then seat yourself like a typical fast-casual restaurant.
Except unlike going to Grand Central Market for casual self-service, you can get a wine slushie with your meal. WINE SLUSHIES!
Due Fiori is located on 2708 East 4th Street in Long Beach. According to Google, they are open on Wednesdays thru Sundays from 5-10pm. They can be followed on Instagram here.
