Community Goods is slated to open a third location in Brentwood, according to newly released retail plans. The uber-trendy West Hollywood coffee shop has been tapped as a future tenant of The Lawn, a mixed-use space along the San Vicente Corridor.
The office/retail development hasn’t officially opened yet, though a Mendocino Farms and Bank of America are already up and running. It’s unclear when the Community Goods would open.
Community Goods instantly became a TikTok darling when it opened in February 2023, legendary for long lines as much as their trademark breakfast sandwiches on Hawaiian rolls. The owner, Pedro Cavaliere, told the Los Angeles Times he was working as a personal assistant to musician A-Trak before he was inspired to open the Melrose cafe during the Covid lockdowns.
This month, he opened Community Goods’ second outpost, a coffee window at the Pacific Design Center.
The Lawn project comes from Anderson Real Estate, whose headquarters are also on San Vicente. The firm has developed a broad range of commercial properties across Los Angeles, including the Brentwood Country Mart.
The Lawn’s new plans show future tenants also include French skincare company Sisley Paris, which would be only its third location in the U.S.
