A central winding staircase, interior stained glass panels, and marble fireplace are just some of the spectacular custom touches that define singer and entrepreneur Jessica Simpson’s recently re-listed Hidden Hills home, which was placed back on the market on January 11, 2025.

The 13,000-plus square foot home has a storied history: previously owned by Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne, the 7-bedroom, 13-bathroom property was purchased by Simpson and her second husband Eric Johnson in March 2013 for $11.5 million, and was then briefly placed on the market in 2023 before being removed. This most recent listing comes only a few days after the couple has announced their intention to formally end their relationship.

The property has extensive outdoor space and amenities, including a pool, covered portico, and extensive slate and stone tile pathways. The aesthetic could be described as idiosyncratic, both indoors and out. The exterior style incorporates a country farmhouse appearance with faux Georgian manor stylings, including wood shingle siding and vine-covered stone/rock walls. The perimeter of a burbling stone fountain is delineated by a meticulously trimmed hedge.

The interior, meanwhile, is spacious and colorful, with built-in cabinetry, exposed wooden beams, and oval windows throughout. Almost every room has its own color scheme and specific decor, including light blue walls in the bedrooms and a billowing fabric canopy in a dome above a rehearsal space.

With a listing price of $17.9 million, the home is approximately $1,348.00 per square foot, placing it in the upper tier of the region’s real estate. However, with the recent series of devastating fires in the greater Los Angeles area and the corresponding rise in both rental and home prices, the palatial house may find a buyer sooner rather than later.
