Selena Gomez is letting go of her Encino mansion. After recently purchasing a 35-million-dollar mansion with her husband, music producer Benny Blanco, she is officially reorganizing her real estate portfolio. The singer originally purchased the property for $5 million in 2020. The six-bedroom, 10-bathroom Encino residence is currently listed for $6.5 million by Branden and Rayni Williams with The Beverly Hills Estates.

Before Selena Gomez, the home had other notable celebrity ties. Constructed in 1989, it was originally commissioned for rock musician Tom Petty. Set within Encino’s Rancho neighborhood, the estate occupies nearly an acre at the end of a gated drive. The property functions as a private compound surrounded by canyon views.

Spanning approximately 11,500 square feet, the multi-level residence combines curved forms blended with angular architecture. Recent renovations introduced contemporary amenities while still preserving the home’s original identity. Exposed beams, organic finishes, and generous ceiling heights contribute to an interior that balances comfort with a custom design approach.

The main level centers on a dramatic living room illuminated by overhead skylights. A substantial stone fireplace extends upward toward a mezzanine and vaulted ceiling, emphasizing the height of the space. There is also a family room, formal dining room, chef’s kitchen, and a primary suite on the same floor.

On the upper level, a second primary suite is joined by four individual bedrooms with connecting bathrooms. The arrangement provides flexibility for guests while maintaining privacy between living spaces.

The entertainment and wellness amenities are concentrated on the lower level. Here, the home includes a wine cellar, fitness room, massage space, work area, and secondary kitchen. The lower floor is complete with a dedicated sound booth, reflecting the property’s long-standing connection to music and creative production.

Outside, the grounds are designed specifically for recreation and entertaining. The exterior is complete with a cabana, full bar, fire pit, and al-fresco dining area. A cascading rock waterfall and a flowing stream spill dramatically into the spa and pool below.

Altogether, the estate reflects a resort-inspired vision, complete with a full beauty salon and countless facilities suited to a rock-star lifestyle. Modern updates have expanded its functionality while preserving the playful character that distinguished the home from the start.
