Alon Zakoot designed three contemporary new builds in the heart of Silicon Beach. Dubbed “The Glass Ladies” due to their geometric glass facades, these modern marvels have been featured in countless architectural publications. The first structure of the three brand-new homes has just hit the Los Angeles market. With five bedrooms and six bathrooms, the inventive exterior is a preview of the inimitable interior. “Lucia, Lady of Luxe” is currently listed for sale by Sally Forster Jones of Compass.

The seaside locale is reflected in the light, bright interior. Because Venice is known for its laid-back energy, Zakoot sought to maximize the indoor-outdoor living potential. This space includes countless corners to lounge and take advantage of the year-round sunshine. The succulent-filled gardens have been curated to reflect the natural SoCal flora. The greenery leads to a stainless-steel entrance with expansive glass panels.

The entryway is full of dynamic textures and architectural details. It is immediately apparent that the space is meant for entertaining. With an opulent fireplace, glistening accent wall, and sliding glass doors, the formal living room acts as a contemporary exhibition of open space and designer details.

While the entire property screams “modern,” the kitchen is perhaps the trendiest room in the house. With a double-waterfall island and state-of-the-art appliances, this cooking space was designed to be enjoyed. The custom cabinetry is an exemplification of understated glamour. The kitchen leads to an al fresco lounge with additional bar seating.

Every inch of this home is filled with spaces built for relaxation. A barbecue is ideal for the pleasant weather and the saltwater pool is a Venice essential. The rooftop deck boasts views of the palm trees on the horizon. Several balconies pepper the home and almost every room offers access to the outdoors.
