Fast-food franchise Chick-Fil-A recently opened a new location in the Atwater Village neighborhood of Los Angeles at 2925 Los Feliz Boulevard. The boulevard, which boasts a diverse array of both independent sit-down restaurants such as Tam O’Shanter and national chains like Carl’s Jr., is one of the main arteries that bridges the 5 freeway and connects Atwater Village to the Los Feliz neighborhood, making it a highly trafficked slice of real estate.
According to a press release, the new Chick-Fil-A will create approximately 70 new jobs under the leadership of Robert Peterson, a local who grew up in Pasadena and is already successfully operating another location of the chain at Glendale’s shopping mall The Americana at Brand.
“Over the years, I’ve seen this beautiful community evolve, but the way in which we care for one another has remained the same,” Peterson said. “With the opening of Chick-fil-A Los Feliz Boulevard, I’m looking forward to bringing delicious food and an inviting atmosphere for all to enjoy.”

In an effort to give back to the community, some of Peterson’s initiatives include a $25,000 donation from Chick-Fil-A to Feeding America in support of the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, as well as participation in the “Chick-Fil-A Shared Table” program, which “redirects surplus food to local nonprofits and has helped to create over 35 million meals to date.”
Originally founded in 1967 by minister and businessman S. Truett Cathy, Chick-Fil-A currently has over 3,000 locations across Puerto Rico, Canada, and the United States, and employs more than 200,000 people. The chain recently expanded to the United Kingdom, and is currently planning to open a storefront in Shanghai by the end of 2025. The Atwater Village location will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
