Joe & The Juice Expands in Los Angeles With Incoming Los Feliz Location

Los Feliz has plenty of cozy coffee shops and brunch spots to choose from both on the main drags of Vermont and Hillhurst Avenues, and dotting Hollywood Boulevard like relative newcomer Boichik Bagels. The latest contender for the neighborhood’s blend of chain and independent coffee shops is a large new store for Denmark-based Joe & The Juice located at the five-point crux of Hollywood Boulevard, Hillhurst Avenue, Sunset Drive, Sunset Boulevard, and Virgil Avenue.

Founded at the turn of the millennium, Joe & The Juice sprang from its Danish origins to a global presence with approximately 400 stores worldwide and 65 stores in the United States at the time of writing. While their menu features lattes and other drinks you’d expect to find at any given coffee shop, there’s more emphasis on the “juice” part of their name given the company’s extensive smoothie and juice menu.

Favoring acai bowls and holistic snacks geared towards health-conscious customers over croissants and bagels, it’s no wonder that the chain’s presence in SoCal alone is quickly growing. With a store that recently opened in Culver City, the franchise will be up to six locations in the greater Los Angeles area after the Los Feliz store opens.

Located just a block behind the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles (CHLA) and in close proximity to where Los Feliz ends and Silverlake begins, the new spot for Joe & The Juice on the 4500 block of Hollywood Boulevard near the five points intersection sees a great deal of commuter traffic. The CHLA and Kaiser medical campuses on Sunset Boulevard ensure a steady flow of breakfast and lunch rush customers, in addition to a quick cup of coffee for everyone who thought they were turning onto Sunset Boulevard but got on Hollywood by mistake.

Opening is estimated to be April-May 2026.
